Onboarding

During user onboarding, you will be asked to provide applicable documentation in order for Ventures to verify your status as an investor. This is a straightforward and simple process that may include:

  • documentation verifying your income or net worth;

  • declaration form or written confirmation as to your investment and trading experience; and

  • various forms, including a Form W-2, Form 1099, bank or brokerage statements, other statements of securities holdings, and other applicable documentation to ensure that you meet the definition of an accredited investor.

Can Non-US. or Non-Eurpean Investors use the Ventures?

Yes. Most users around the globe can register an account and use the service.

How long does it take to verify user account?

Accreditation and verification are nearly instantaneous, subject to passing certain checks through our third-party provider. However, in some instances, manual oversight and checks may be necessary to identify individuals who have been flagged or reside in certain geographic locations. This could be due to various reasons, such as sharing a name, date of birth, birth city, or addresses with flagged individuals.

If there are any questions or concerns regarding your account, we will notify you during the account verification process.

Document Access on the Ventures

All documentation uploaded to verify your accreditation status is kept private and in accordance with global data protection rules. The documentation is only used to confirm that you meet the definition of a professional investor. Your information is securely stored on ukiyo's internal database.
