How do users of Ventures make investment decisions?

Ventures operates on a user-directed model, which means that each user has the discretion to decide where to allocate their assets. As a user, it is expected that you have some experience in evaluating and investing in startups or equity financing using digital assets. Projects that are seeking investment through the platform must undergo an application process when registering.

Once a project is complete, the platform will examine all pledges after a seven to fourteen day period. If there is any suspected fraudulent activity, the platform will eject certain users from the funding rounds. Necessary legal agreements are then sent out, and ukiyo transfers the investment to the project owner. It is essential for Ventures' users to understand and acknowledge that they individually bear the economic risk of their investment.

*Users of Ventures must always be aware that they bear the individual economic risk of their investments. This means that any financial gains or losses resulting from their investment decisions will be solely their responsibility.

Furthermore, investment opportunities through Ventures may not be available to users in certain jurisdictions due to regulatory restrictions. It is the responsibility of users to ensure that their participation in Ventures is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

How are investment terms determined by Ventures?

ukiyo Labs internally sources projects and negotiates with each project for the terms of investment. The founding and management teams of the project work with Ventures to structure the deals and create the best offering for the ukiyo community, who may not have the ability to negotiate the terms of the investment.

We/I am from "X" location. Can I submit a project proposal for sponsorship

While ukiyo Labs primarily sources Ventures projects internally to ensure a secure environment for users, external projects can also apply for a subscription agreement with Ventures. We recommend that interested parties review the terms and conditions carefully and submit proposals via the project sponsorship portal.

What is the investment period for projects?

The investment period for projects is determined by the project founders and can be either time-based or goal-based. Users can contribute to the project until all allocated capital has been either withdrawn or fully pledged.

What of user liability?

Ventures is designed with legal structures and regulations to safeguard users against any potential liability that may arise from their investment in subscription agreements. The legal contracts provided by the Ventures serve to offer the best protection to each user from legal and financial risks.
