âUnderstanding Projects
Venture capital investors typically fund early-stage or high-growth companies that may require specialized resources to bring their products or services to market. Overall, these investors play a crucial role in supporting innovative companies that may not have access to traditional funding sources, helping them achieve their goals and create value for their shareholders.
How Projects Raise
Project Sourcing and Submission (Deal Sourcing): Usually, ukiyo Labs undertakes most due dilligence on projects that will be available on the Ventures platform.
Project Submission: Businesses can also use the Raise function to submit their own project. ukiyo Labs carries out strict due diligence to ensure only curated projects are listed on the platform. This stage is crucial as it helps to ensure that only high-quality projects are available for Ventures' users.
Project Launch: Once the project is funded, the project team can begin executing their plan with the financial backing provided by the community. The project's progress will be regularly updated on our platform, enabling investors to track the project's performance.
Project Performance Review: The capital raised by each project is not immediately paid out. Capital formation is a difficult process and Ventures takes the value of each user's investment seriously. Therefore, the smart contracts are designed in a way where the Ventures team can review and periodically pay out raised capital based on the perfomance and mileastones of each project.
Returns: As the project progresses and achieves milestones, investors can earn returns on their investments. Returns are paid out in cryptocurrencies depending on the project's terms.
Project Completion: When the project is completed, investors will receive their initial investment and returns, if any, in their wallet on the blockchain. The success of the project will depend on its execution and performance, and investors will have a direct and transparent view of how their investment has contributed to the project's success.
